Loud crunching sounds echoed off of the trees in the twilight lit forest. Sly looked around warily as he came to a stop against a thin tree and bent to catch his breath. The sudden loud sound of a snapping branch caught his attention and he gasped in surprise. His heart beat faster as he peered around the other side of the tree and sighed when he didn't see who he expected to see. "Where you looking?" came a voice behind him before a force struck him from above. The wolfox fell to the ground and turned to look up to see Luck crouching in the low branches of the tree above him. On her face was a near sadistic smile. And in her hand was a second snowball. "I win." she continued as she threw the ball of packed snow down on the male next before jumping down gracefully to the ground.
Sly sputtered a bit before noticing that Luck was extending her hand to help him up. He groaned gruffly and took her hand. They were in a nearby forest. Sly had arrived before sundown after his date with Pips and asked Luck to take a walk with him. They went to a nearby park and walked into the connected forest where Luck challenged him to a snowball fight. A fight it seems he'd soundly lost. The male wiped the snow from his jacket and pants as Luck beamed at him. "That was fun. So what's next?" she asked excitedly. Sly could only smile in response as he put his arm around his feline companion and they continued their walk.
The pair walked around the rest of the park and ended back at the house. Sly lit the fireplace and asked Luck to wait for him on the couch. She sat on the couch and was surprised when he came back with mugs of hot cocoa for both of them. He sat next to her and they enjoyed the drinks as their bodies warmed up from the heat of the fireplace. They conversed lightly as they did, and when they were done Sly surprised Luck by pulling out a book she'd rented from the library recently. It was a romance novel, and she hadn't had much time to read it yet. He sat down and opened it to where she'd bookmarked it. She wasn't very far in, so he asked her to catch him up on what had happened so far. After he began to read as Luck cuddled up next to him. The sound of the crackling fire faded into the distance as the pair concentrated on the words on the page dictated by the male. This went on late into the night as Sly and Luck stayed cuddled up together on the couch.
It may not have been the most flashy, but both agreed it was a nice way to end the date together, and a worthy memory to share with each other for a long time to come.

It might have just been my opinion, but back when Luck made her submissive relationship with Sly official and got the nickname "kitten", some of her personality seemed leech out in favor of tenderness and vulnerability. It was one of the reasons for her getting a job as Sly's research assistant back then. Of course, I did drop off the map for a bit, so I might have missed some gradual growth.
