I'm trying my hand at drawing more superhero related works, so here is a piece i did of Ace/Bat Hound and Robbie from Krypto the Superdog. I decided to draw them in a style similar to the opening of the original 1966 Batman series, where Batman and Robin shake hands after running towards the camera and bashing the villians. The way the two are posed here are a clear homage to that part, as i particularly like the comic esque designs that the opening was done in.
I tried to get as close to that comic style as i possibly could, and these two lend well to that kind of reference.
