A guide to drawing pregnant characters... the way I do, anyway. =D I tend to base my own drawings on a more realistic than cartoony or stylized anatomy, and I don't often draw characters who are that far along. This is based on what's been pointed out to me in my own work, the technique I use when sketching, and should in no way be taken as the end all in drawing pregnancy. Pregnant women are as different as the artists who draw them. =D This is just how *I* do it.

I knew I was doing something wrong. *Beats self with marshmallow* The tutorials are great for those of us that don't draw pregnancy often but want to.
I know I've never done the belly ending at the groin like the incorrect version. I just never made it perfect. But all mine were far along too. This is very good though.

The part where you point ou the correct and incorrect is the most important, and that's the actual anatomy. Some things just don't look nice if they're not at least a bit closer to the reality. Preganant females look weird when they're too different from real pregnant women. Nice tutorial!
