Man, this is old... around '92 or '93.
I wrote a few songs originally intended to be used in some kind of Amiga platform/adventure game called Raiders that (obviously) never materialized. This was for the Castle section of the game and was originally in 3 channels, leaving one channel for sound effects. Eventually, a 4th channel was added.
Written in MED (not ProTracker), and convert to MP3 with ModPlug and LAME. This is the first time I've posted this in a modern audio format.
Most instruments I recorded and edited myself on my Amiga. The percussion instruments were ripped from the classic Amiga game Pinball Fantasies (music by Olof Gustaffsen).

Audition4 was the best audio editing program in its day. It had support for REALTIME special effects and REALTIME zoom years before most PC audio programs even supported buffered previews. God, I miss the good old Amiga so much, and the "real" public domain. The people who made software for it were just so inventive.
Linux and GPL are complete crap by comparrison to what the Amiga was 15 years ago.

Well, take my comment with an understanding of how young I was back then. Too young to understand most of what was going on.
In fact, young enough that the disk read error screen with the red text used to scare the crap out of me like the whole thing was preparing to explode =)
Of course, now I can appreciate what an excellent machine it was. Way ahead of its time.
