YES, yes it does. I play healer in Phantasy Star Online 2, and oh my GOD people are idiots there.

But to be fair, there's also the entitled healers who think themselves the center of the universe and blame people for dying who actually did their jobs properly.

HAH this is true as well! I've seen some really bad ones who act like that in PSO2.

I've also seen ones who treat new players who are just learning the game and don't realize it isn't a WOW clone like shit.

There is a difference, a HUGE difference, between a level 5 player who A: does not have any secondary class activated at all, and B: who doesn't realize this isn't a game where you can just stand there not moving and swing your sword, that you actually HAVE to move out of the way....and someone level 90/90 who is doing the same thing, while having two separate classes at max, both mained and subbed, and..... DOing that. AKA, someone at 90/90 SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. that 5/0 probably just started ten minutes ago. I've seen support players treat said 5 like they are the disease that will end humanity. Then again in PSO2 a lot of THOSE ones are that 90/90 and they die in five seconds once the fighting gets serious.

Shit-I mean...Ship 02 here, Block 7 is just rancid with the worst examples of EN speaking players, which is where I've had the worst encounters. Techer/Hunter, here. I like being able to survive horrific damage in order to get in close and keep people alive from the front lines.

I actually had my BoGu friend try out 02!! He said he had an awful time and was happy he just redid his character for it!
Personally I am currently Hero Classed but originally I am HuFo! (...Because I was a HUnewearl in PSO and I liked melee fighting and healing and supporting friends!)

NICE, finding a combo you feel comfortable with is always an excellent feeling. I personally enjoyed the support and tanky aspects of HUmar, hence why I went Te/Hu, myself. Plus gotta love how with the wang gear/wand lovers/wand reactor and all that, wands are basically sabers with extra punch now. (Have one of those 14 star Lavis Cannons too heh) In ship 02, it's all about getting lucky and finding a good group of people from the getgo. You go that, you're set for life. If not....you're gonna have a hard time there.

You can't blame healers for thinking that they're the center of the universe. All the enemy cross-hairs gravitating toward them tends make you think everyone is out to get you... I mean, they are. THEY ARE!!!

Trying to heal in that game can be a nightmare, though.

I have +400 hours of this game, and any match my team abusing VHS, that's why I prefer do not be an healer (kinda), healers do the bests to heal their team but it's not their fault if they kill from a damage or from a flanks from behind etc.
But I'm still play this game anyway, and I don't give a shit what my team keep say what I need to do, it's just a game.
You suck at healer, after match, REPORT THIS HEALER BECAUSE IT'S NOOB!!!

Paladins is surprisingly so much more fun than I think it is, whenever I go back. I play a lot of Pip too, and it's always funny when people are like that....I just end up going bouncyboy on the runes, when I want to play around x'D JUMPY TIME FOREVER

I never expect to get healed in any game, so I feel lucky on the rare occasion it actually happens.

I know this feel on a personal level

As a healer4lyfe in ff14 I have legit stopped healing many people till they die because they refuse to listen. Or not stand in death. I would have done so many more times if I could tell my aoes to not target specific people.

I have been on both sides of this argument lol. you'd think that i would learn to not be an ass to the healers AFTER experiencing that type of nonsense =3

It's quite fun! It's got a few bugs, because it's a Hi-Rez game, but it's the most consistently entertaining hero shooter I've spent time with. Worth checking out at the very least.

*sighs* I feel your pain as a former support main in LoL, a Resto Shaman in WoW, and primarily a support frame user in Warframe. I usually never curse the healer(s)... directly when I'm playing DPS xD

DPS, they're a dime a dozen and heals are a privilege that can easily be taken away if you spite the few who give 'em.

I usually use the ability that turns your ammo into healing rounds. Most of my allies usually walk into my line of sight anyways.

I remember the beta days of pip, he was legit the absolute strongest before he got like three nerfs before the game came out :/
