I got one of these gas springs for my car's trunk, but it's too long in its fully extended length.

Good work compressing tieing metal at the same time! It takes a bit of finesse and strength at the same time so good work! You definitely love to live on the edge since that trunk will have enough energy to launch things. In fact, we need an experiment to measure how far it can launch things.
