This is concept art for a comic idea, RWS Nemesis. Ideas that are far, far, far from complete.
It started with an idea for a villains: a pirate cartel leader. I personally find female villains highly enjoyable.
Then a skipper (Captain) from an as yet unnamed competing empire.
Then I thought up the boss for my protagonists. An Admiral in the Akady empire.

good concepts. your art has improved in the last couple of months that we lost touch.
i think you are a very good writer who thinks things out in full, however ur art skills have a lot of catching up to do to your writing skills. what i would like to see from you is for you to refine theart style that defines you. how you can do this is find an artist who you adore or admire and trace their line art to get a feel for their work (dont post any of it, its just for practice) and then sketch their line art just by looking at it. soon you will know what lines to use when you draw your own work and it will start to take on a style all its own.
to also help you improve i suggest you check out the book 'the new drawing on the right side of the brain' by betty edwards. it helped me to see every thing in a different light. and dispight my needing glasses, i could draw a lot better after i read her book and did all of the exercises in it.
as for the characters themselves i'm sure they are awesome ^^
(told you i suck at critiques)

I have traced and copied the work of several artists several times and it has resulted in multiple styles I go between as needed.
I will have to look into that book. Can I beg a favor: could you scan and email me a few pages?
Yeah: this is some of my roughest work: but it was just to get the characters on paper so I could start collaborating on the project.
I need to flesh out the characters more: these are just ideas about what they could be: a trait, ect; far from anything that can go into production.
