thanks, I wanted to play sommore with layers and lightwork, I've done a few things recently with both shadow layers and light layers and I think it gives the piccies more personality

Very awesome pic my friend, sorry to hear ya was not doing so hot when ya drew it. Hope yer doing awesome today! I love how you insert yer charcter into yer stuff so much. You did an awesome job with the lighing affects nice bright little bugs to be sure. The grass texture is amazing and well done. To bad yer charcter expresses whet yew were feeling at the time. Most folks I have seen pics of have big ol smiles o their faces when playing with thes bugs. But i find it cool that you can insert yer emotions into the pic it show s it is truly you and about you the artist. It shows that it has feeling and depth. Very cool indeed. You and yours take care and have most excellent day!

I'm thinking about re-doing this one honestly I want to have more movement and contrast in the image so I might try to make it at dusk. Thanks for the wonderful words and the on-going commenting! I really appreciate it!

Hey it looks good, you could keep this one and make another and use them for comparison to each other. It would be cool to see what the differences and similarities are. That would look cool me thinks. Yer most welcome. I find it helps an artist feel good and gives them reason to continue with their art. This reminds me of a song! Fireflies -- Owl City It's a great song, I advise that you listen to it sometime. But in related conversation... This picture is so awesome. I wish I was there inside of it =] You immerse your characters into their surroundings, like Sandboa said! I have to say though, Angel's facial expression really gets me. I love how you did it <3 It's like a look of curiosity and also amusement at the same time. Special affects of the fireflies worked nicely too. I remember when I went to P.A. to visit my grandmother. They had fireflies and I loved trying to catch them. I eventually did catch a few. Standing in the middle of them, though was amazing. I'll never forget it. <3 I love your ideas for submissions. I always like to see what you draw next.

I live in the same state that Owl City's from lol. Its all over the radio up here haha and my sister says every time it plays it reminds her of me. Thanks for the comment and sorry it took me so long to reply!
