yeah I broke my own rule that I would never draw Renamon or Krystal...
I was wondering, what did Krystal, Renamon and Colleen think about? Being the only females on their teams what do they have to deal with compared to everyone else? This is based off the original character personalities, not the fanservice versions....
Krystal:
In a world I don't fully understand, on a team of legendary pilots. I have to train twice as hard as any of them, study for hours just to catch up with them and deal with my emotions for Fox...I wont be the weak link in this team!
Renamon:
I tried being strong on my own, I tried being strong with a partner and trying to be strong with a team. I have to work harder then any of them, I dont have the raw strength or the firepower they have and I have to protect my trainer...I wont be the weak link in this team!
Colleen:
Sure I'm the muscle of the team, the best fighter available I jump into the fight while the guys get their guns. I don't mind kicking tail but how am I supposed to get Hunter to see me as a girlfriend if I'm always beating things up? I have to be strong, I can't let anyone hurt Hunter, I have to train to deal with anything that we come across...I wont be the weak link in the team!

Admittedly, my heart does go out to Krystal. She was not only stepping into a veteran squad, but was replacing their oldest member, Peppy. The one that, at least accroding to Starfox 64, had survived the teams near destruction the first time around.
Not quite sure how I felt about them making her psychic either...probably to make up for loosing her magical staff.

The psychiciness is actually downplayed alot in Command mission, and if anyone out there wants to see the starfox story at its best, I advise people to get that game. She does have her moments of weakness, and that game shows it, as well as the strength she uses to overcome it. I won't spoil it, but it fleshes her out more than ANY other game.
