This was just a quick warm-up sketch that I decided to finish in a slightly more experimental style. It has a bit of a story to it!

I've recently introduced Tabsterleir to my dark fantasy world, Sahnbrad, and established that her character Tabitha would be a good fit in there. She's one of the few Sanctioned Loupkin, someone cursed with lycanthropy but put through the correct rites (including the branding of those golden markings on her skin) quickly enough to not only keep the curse under control but also allow the afflicted individual control over their actions when transformed. The Sanctioned Loupkin are the Inquisition's heavy hitters, assigned to the retinues of only the most experienced Inquisitors.

This version of Tabitha is quite different from her previous incarnations! She's young, loyal, curious, playful and always hungry for both treats and praise. But she insists she is not a dog! Behind her is her handler and adoptive mother: Inquisitor Siberia (pronounced See-beria).
