A short poem, for someone special.
I'm feeling a little inspired, so there may be a few more coming.
We'll see.

I see you;

Standing alone, in the rain.
My heart is open,
let me take your pain.

I see you;

Your back against the wall.
My arms are open,
I won't let you fall.

I see you;

Tears running down your face.
My arms are open;
Let me take your place.

Here is my hand,
Take it.
I know you can.

Walk with me still,
Towards the sun,
setting upon the hill.

You need not to be afraid,
Nor feel alone.
I've been here,
All along.
