Here's another character inhabiting the same universe as Aurora and Serenity. You COULD say she's with the good-guys... but she seems rather different at the same time.
She's a detective for the city that Aurora lives in, and beyond that, happens to be a 300+ year-old kitsune. She also seems to have a weird split-personality; one minute she's cruel and sadistic as The Joker but then the next she turns into a happy-go-lucky ditz that claims to be a were-fox. No one knows if it's an actual seperate personality or a result of living so long away from other kitsunes. Regardless, she still carries a badge and has proven to be a fairly reliable (but shady) ally.
I sketched this out at MFF in attempt to get back into a drawing groove, and decided to go with a more exaggerated look (hence why the trenchcoat seems to over-billow and her sword isn't proportioned right).

well okay nice free form view, but she is standing with a shirt that has a soft curve that makes her look flat. the gun is held oddly. umm hold a gun like it and look in the mirror at the same angle and you will see what i mean, also the gun looks like a bannana peel bent down.
the cross hatching on the sword would look better if it followed the roundness of the grip
out side of these everything else has a nice open feeling and despite her grr look you could trust her, (she is open with a bare belly of course you can trust her, it is only a slap a way from getting a home run!)
