Very interesting. It kind of looks like a dark fantasy version of the fabled city of Atlantis, only it's above ground instead of underwater.

Either that, or it reminds me of the city of Midgar from Final Fantasy VII, what with the industrial plant looking structures encircling the main part of the city.

o yeah I remember that place :D I used to like that city when I played FF VII. I don't remember much of it but I do remember the main part kind of. :P

This is really good: the fog is well-executed, neat architecture, effective use of limited colors, etc. Dramatic!

I like the tubes of light that run down the tower into all the other buildings. It looks as though the tower is generating power from the storm ( or the storm is a byproduct. But judging from the landscape, I doubt that :) ).

I like it ^^ I know how you feel, things never turn out how I ever trully want them, but one must still feel that they did a good job, like you did here ^^
It has an eldritch feel, something arcaic, graceful, dark, mysterious and powerful in a primal, primordial sense.
The light gives it a feel of some sort of goodness hidden in what appears to be a dark and almost malevelant structure, and the smoke gives it a feel that it is very much alive in the physical plane as much as it is in the mystical (the veins of purple light)
I enjoy it, very nicely done =3

well, you got it to look like it was made out of a mountain (kinda like the makers carved the mountain so down into the shape of the city) so it has an organic feel there =3
