So, my husband mentioned to me that he was learning guitar, and a very long time ago I used to have a Fender that I tried to learn how to play ( back before internet and apps ) and it was very difficult. I didnt have an app on my phone to guide me, and so I gave up after about three months.
Guitar, especially acoustic is something that I have always wanted to learn, my younger sister being a music prodigy and all, learning beetoven by ear in less than a month, always was playing, and her friends too. My uncle even gave her his expensive Martin Guitar.
So its something I’ve always dreamed of learning.
Fast forward to today, and about 10 years later. I feel like its never too late to learn something as amazing as this, and even if I’m not very good at it, the app we use makes it so fun, giving you challenges and stuff, and now my husband and I are competing against one another as well.
Its so fun! I love playing as well because while I am playing all of my demons, fears and worries go away.
But what really did my heart in was that I got to watch him for an hour try and learn “Happier” by Bastille - oh my gosh, I was goooooone.

So yeah, I’m learning the guitar! On a spanish guitar! Its so awesome!!
