Okay, so~
I stopped drawing Sonic art years ago. I had my own story that tied into both the comics and games, just like most other Sonic artists, but when I realized that, if I wanted my story to actually be sold as a comic, I couldn't use copyrighted characters, so I stopped drawing it.
kayla-na's been a big inspiration in my starting to draw it again, and I started to produce the comic, sketch by sketch, again, to get my Sonic style back. It's hard after drawing regular Kat so often xD SO!
I was sketching Kat, and I wanted her to talk to someone, and so I started sketching Kayla, and I went with it. *shrugs*
Oh! Uh.. Also! xD In my comic, Sonic and Rocky [my hedgehog guy that Kat dated,] never got along, so their arguing in the bg, while their ladies are walking off in mid discussion. *sniggerfits* This was fun to do.

Heh! I love this drawing.. I think for a majority of furry artists.. that's how it started.. seeing as how I was the same way.. I drew sonic based fanart.. had my own story tied in and such.. and I slowly moved away from that. XD But it IS nice to see that style done well once in a while. and it's sometimes fun to go back and draw IN that style too, though my art has changed a ton since those days.
