Bio: An anthropomorphic polar bear who resides in the Northern tundra at his own high-tech observatory. Orphaned at a young age, Maritimus was unable to recall his parents. A pair of researchers found the cub one February night under the lamp post outside of their facility, wrapped in a blue flannel blanket. The pair took the responsibility of raising him as their own child, educating him in multiple facets of scientific research. Given his growing size, after several years of staying with his adoptive parents, Maritimus left home to continue his own pursuits, specifically in astrology. With the help of his parents, they constructed his observatory far from the city lights in order to view the stars more clearly.

While he lives a life of solitude, he still remains rather jolly and enjoys the company of others; whether they are just visitors that seek to ice fish in a nearby frozen lake that his observatory overlooks or people seeking shelter from the winter chill. He welcomes any passerby in need of aid with his hospitality, providing for them just as his parents did for him when he was younger.

This is a new character that I adopted from  Darkzeus (sorta did it before the auction went public, oop). I saw this big ol' bear and had to have him as my own~ Thank you again Zeus!~
