Aww cool! I thought for the longest time that there were beavers in the river where I grew up. The townships bordering ours is called Niederbieber and Oberbieber ('lower beaver' and 'upper beaver' respectively) and look at the coat of arms! And I only learned last year that the little beaver-like animals were actually nutrias. I feel betrayed XD And I never ever heard the name before, tbh. My mom must have felt so smart teaching me that little detail, haha.
