Wow posting here again after 3 years. Uploading some recent stuff from my deviantart.

My sona's updated ref. I mostly draw her feral but she can be drawn as a biped too.

I like giving her a lot of varying design options...it's nice to be able to experiment with her, thus the addition of letting her have any style of cheek fur along with the shapeshifting and colour palette swap.

Colour Palette Rules:
Can be any colour palette! The easiest way I find to do this (and keep the tones correct) is to just use an overlay layer a 100%. Her eyes, nose, and pawpads MUST stay the same colour regardless of palette swap.

Shapeshifting Rules:
Can turn into any animal but never plants or inanimate objects. Markings should be as close to the default form as possible, but variations can apply depending on animal species. Physical traits should also carry over, but only if they apply. She cannot have tufted ears if the animal she changes into doesn't have ears. :' )

Physical traits that should (usually) apply:
-heart shaped nose
-tufted ears
-retractable claws
-long tail

Mostly just writing all this down for myself to remember, but it should apply for commissioned work as well.
