It's isn't Sunog"ified" this time. That's the actual Yoshi's color from that exact scene. Only baby Mario is missing, for obvious reasons.

Bigger Boo and Prince Froggy were the forts I found myself playing a LOT when I was a kid due to their appeals alone. If I still had a copy of the game, emulated or not, I would still find myself visiting those levels frequently.

Oh man I always loved this boss. Not only was his fortress fun to go through, but I would replay it a lot just to see him blow up again, imagining how it would look if he just got a little bit bigger before the end.

Well, there is an actual inflatable Boo appesring in New Super Mario Bros. DS

It is very rare and only appear in two ghost house levels

Not enough ghost inflation out there, but most of the time when I do see it it's boo related and I love it. <3
This had me searching for another inflating enemy from the yoshi's island series called the Gobblin but it was from the Yoshi's Island DS game.
Basically it would block pipes so you had to feed it eggs till it was full to bursting. When it was fully packed and ready to blow it would make a face like it was gonna pop if it had to eat one more egg, then because its body was so taut and strained you would throw one more egg and the impact on its trembling body would make it explode.
Couldn't find any footage of it sadly but you can find the sprites online fairly easy to see what it looks like.

By the way, you don't actually need to repeatedly throw eggs at Big Boo to damage him. Instead, just play as Mario and ground pound him 3 times to kill him.
