Humanity, we are the most adaptable species on our planet, in July of 1969 we took out the first step on to a surface alien to us. We traveled to a place that we, nor any other creature on this earth should be able to walk, and yet threw our adaptation we did the impossible, and conquered in inhospitable.
On the beginning of March 2021 life as we knew it changed forever as a giant race of equines from another dimension, on a dying world opened a portal to our world to call for help. They were invited into our world by nations that didn't know better, nor how to handle such a drastic change and collapsed for there ignorance. Thow some countries survived most couldn't sustain the struggle. In time new nations sprung up to rebuilt civilization from the ground up in different ways, like the Democratic West Cost Republic, or the dictatorial ReUnited States of America to the south. However, some of us found a different way to survive.
The ponies who entered our would be dubbed "The Giants," and giants they were. To spite their good intentions cities still fell to there size; crushed and toppled like dominos. It was this size that made it inevitable that more then just the trees they ate would end up in the deep organic cavern within them. And we were no exception to that rule.
We have no right to not only survive but thrive within those deep ascitic caverns, yet we not only survived but thrived. First with the small town of Amber, then Devilian, New Prinsten, Acid Bay, Steamwork City. Threw our adaptation, we were able to thrive in a place made for the express purpose of destroying life. This city is the largest ambervill yet, and the only to consist entirely on building that have been swallowed. Taking a city never meant for this habitat and yet force it to survive, in my opinion, is the purest example of our perseverance as a species. That is why I think the best name of this city should be Perseverance.
