I had to do it after reading some of the comments for

Hallway Synx. The Synx is an interesting creature, an intelligent parasite that seems to revel in the fact that many seem to confuse it with the very similar looking Sergal...save for the fact that I doubt any sergal is as flexible or malleable or stealthy as a Synx. Which makes me wonder...how do you defend against such a predator...and if need be exactly how do you kill it, if it can be at all? Every thing that lives, no matter how complex or simple, has a weakness.

I thought they had been described as being physically weak in general, meaning one could concievably just bludgeon such a thing until it no longer moved... Certainly, trying to break its neck or other parts would be pointless, but they'd probably be fairly easy to crush the wind pipe on- provided the head was properly pinned to keep the mouth from being a threat.
I think that being pointy and strong in suitably many places would suffice ( claws and teeth ) Also while perhaps achieving some success through stealth it certainly lacks many of the nessesary adaptations for such you can make your case for the 'but the creator said it's this and that' argument now but if function dosen't follow form to a certain degree then we can't assume there's any way of defeating it until expressly stated by the creator.
