I Finally Got A Copy Of The Only Photo Someone Took Of My Halloween Costume.
Each Year I Try To Choose A New And More Unexpected Costume To Wear To Work. First Was A Comic Book Character I Created In High School, No One Got It. Then Alex From, "A Clockwork Orange" I Played A Bit Of The Ludwig Van The Whole Day And Spoke The Jargon... And No One Know Who I Was Supposed To Be.
So This Year I Went For Something No One Would Expect From The Tall Creepy Goth Who Works In The Back To Show Up As... I've Always Had A Special Place In My Heart For The "Alice In Wonderland" Books. It Was My First Exposure To The Ideas Of Alternate Dimensions And Talking Animals, (OMG Furries!!!) So Naturally Being Constantly Obsessed With Time And A Liking For Rabbits (I'll Save How "Watership Down" Scarred Me At Age 6 Another Time) I Went As The White Rabbit.
Considering It Was Something I Threw Together From Stuff In My Closet It Turned Out Great. All Of The Little Kids Loved It, The Elderly Smiled And Everyone Laughed Out Of Surprise When I Showed Up That Morning... Even Though They Thought I Was Dressed As The Mad Hatter (I'm A Top Hat Wearing, Tea Sipping, Loony 364 Days Of The Year, Can't A Mad Hatter Get A Break On His Favorite Holiday?!) And Before Anyone Asks That's Not A Wig Or Fake Goatee, Its Really My Hair. (Oh, And Hurray For The Tiny Rabbit Pin!)
