Koie: I made this picture for the Photoshop class I’m taking. The assignment was to create a Thanksgiving themed picture. I think I’m starting to get the hang of the beast now. The background is blah, but oh well. After seven hours, I’m ready to compromise. :P
I have sort of a love-hate relationship with the Thanksgiving holiday. I believe in what it stands for; being thankful for what you have, everything you’ve earned, and even the things that have been given to you. Believe me, I have a lot to be thankful for; a home, a job, friends and family, and bright future. However, I work as a manager in the meat department, so I’ve got a cooler full of turkeys and hams! So, I decided to have some fun with this picture to just relieve some of the tension.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It brings the family together, you don't really have to buy things for everyone, and everyone always has a good time. it's always been my favorite holiday because i get to see my family come up from Louisiana and Georgia, just to eat and talk and then leave. :3
Too bad it's ignored like it is.... I swear, people go right from Halloween into Christmas, and nobody gives a shiz about Thanksgiving. It's a horrible thing.

Very well done in my opinion, Koie. ^_^ And yeah for me Thanksgiving is a great holiday as well. All our family/relatives from around Vegas/Utah [and believe me there's a lot!] come together, kids have fun..adults talk and relax and good food times are had by all! My uncle's poor pug always gets angry cause for most of it she's in his bedroom cause she gets all uber-hyper around people not native to the household and my pet cat Luna she...well she just flat out doesn't trust anyone who doesn't live in the house.
