Maybe diplomacy wasn’t the best option for dealing with a creature that has already stated a clear intention to eat you. Worth a shot though, right? It takes no effort at all for the huge dragon to snap you up and swallow you whole, forcing you down his tight gullet. But you aren’t done just yet! There’s time! You can still find your way out of his belly before you’re completely digested... somehow. But you’re already weakened from the shrumbloid’s attack earlier, you’re sluggish from still having a gut full of its slushy remains, you don’t have any items on hand that would be of use, and your mana is depleted.
Maybe prayer is the best option...
