a wicked adoptable I got a bit ago, I had a great time fleshing out the design, even if it took me much longer than intended!

just some small doodles, I've been struggling with art but they're too beautiful not to draw! https://sta.sh/01mvb38wil23
In seriousness as I leave too many jokes, a well balanced character. The red in the mouth is very on the level of game design of signaling the "danger zone." The feet and claws have a very nice mix of beastly and human mixes. The grey fur creates a trench coat silhouette which implies rain or heavy weight. The chest complements the weight of the character too.
I also am intrigued at the possibilities of thar hidden eye pattern in the fur. The concept of eyes often meaning intelligence or insight this could be used as a way for this beast like creature to blend in or intimidate creatures who have higher insight. The fur could stand when the beast goes into fight mode to reveal eyes. It could also scare off creatures it finds lower and bothersome. This be referenced in the game Bloodborne. It could also mean the appearance is hiding something underneath or in a higher plane of existence. I like the former idea as it leaves a more interesting effect on its personality and how it interacts with other creatures.
i really appreciate the in-depth analysis you gave their design, but (of course) all credit to its brilliance goes to ForestFright, as i just made a recreation of it in my style! ^^
lemme just say all the references & connections to Bloodborne have me absolutely sold on where i want to take the character now - your idea for the eye designs in the dark fur, showing up like an animal's warning sign to back off, is magnifique, and that'll definitely be incorporated as its purpose now
super helpful overview, i love and appreciate all the input <3
