Speedy and Guido never take their helmets off at all during the show, even when they go to the hot springs in the episode "Wet and Wild Weekend". However, there are official production drawings that show that under their helmets they have mechanized topknot hairstyles not much unlike those of Big Al, Big Cheese, and other characters. So if Speedy actually had taken off his helmet at the hot springs, he might have looked a little like this.
