Being alone on Valentine's Day prompts a young lady to wish for "just some sort of companionship" which eventually starts to alter her reality piece by piece until she's leashed up in the backyard of a friend she used to like in college. They just so happened to also spend their Valentine's Day by themselves as well and could really use a relaxing evening playing with their beloved doggie to get their mind off of things
