This was going to be my entry for joey-poey's Letters and Ladies competition, but the deadline was the 13th, so I missed it. Since it was started I thought I might as well finish it off, no harm eh?
The architect in me is screaming as Dorothy's house is so wrongly built, the roof tiles are like paving slabs, the door has no lining, the lintel doesn't seem to do anything and there would be a fireplace where that window is based on the position of the chimney stack. Bluh. Annoying.

Out of all the things you pointed out, the only thing I noticed was the paving slabs like roof, other wise I think you could've gotten away with it pretty easily. Of course, the roof actually works well this kind of drawing, so I like it.
As usual I like the hatching. especially on that attic window. Also one of the witches legs looks rather flat, but that's because the stripes on her stockings are to straight.
On the whole I like it, it's charming and I chuckled a little. I also find Dorothy with several ear piercings rather humorous x)

Those legs are really bugging me.
The stripes look wrong, but I mocked them up in Rhino, so I know they're right, they just look... crap.
Oh well.
The piercings are part of the character. One of the stipulations of the contest was the use of Zalia, the gal' on the cover of the L&L folio, so they came from her, she's hardcore, so doing her as Dorothy seemed... appopriate.
