The memory of 100 years in manchuria
This is a Impromptus I played after I made an interviwe with my grand mother .
2019.Jan , I went back to my home and asked my grand mother (92) about her past and the past of my home city Chang'chun . it took me days to sort out a clear time line
00:00 the year was 188X , my great grand father ( from my mother's side ) Mr.Z was born in Changchun located in the centrol manchuria , He was a happy-go-lucky kind of kid.
00:30 Mr.Z's family was poor , his father died when Mr.Z was small , after sevral years his mother abandoned him . He become a homeless child since then .
01:13 Mr.Z rove to the city of 海叁崴(ᡥᠠᡳᡧᡝᠨᠸᡝᡳ/Vladivostok) with his friends when he was 13 , he quickly learned how to speak russian and starting making local friend . When he was 15 he's already been working as a translator .
01:45 In his 20's , Mr.Z became a business man and he made quite a furtune , but then the WW1 started and after that , the Russian civil war . he have to return to the manchuria , after his return , my grand mother was born . short time after, the Chinese reunification happened and Manchuria reunified with the Nationalist government, things starting to change ....
1910-1911 epidemic of rat plague in manchuria .
1911- The Qing Dynasty of china disband
1915- China become the "Empire of China"
1928- Huanggutun incident
02:24 Jappanese occupied manchuria and then establish the new state of Manchuria with Changchun as it's capital . During that time every school must teach kids japanese and my grand mother still remember some of it , back then in the school japanese kids will have better food and speak their mother language freely while the others often starve to death , it was a complicated time period .
03:04 Second Sino-Japanese War happend , the war raged hard and the people suffered (skipe a bunch of war related sad stories )
03:24 Soviet Red Army occupied Changchun ,they did a lot of terrible things to the locals, many russians stay and will became Chinese russian . the good thing is , thanks to Mr.Z's amazing russian skill he started to work for the soviets and made more fortune . My grand mother still remember that when she was little her dad will bring her to some fancy candy store ranning by the russians and local russian Cafe to drink coffee and milk tea . (sadly thouse fancy store and Cafe was gone after the war )
03:37 Chinese Communist Revolution(civil war) started and the economy and people’s livelihood have suffered serious damage ,in 1948, 200'000 Civilian in changchun dies becouse of the starvation during the Siege of Changchun , people had no food , no water , no electrecity , they have to switch kids and ate them in order to servive . It was hell.
04:10 Cultural Revolution happend , my grand mothe burned all of the photo that Mr'Z and her took together ,People have to" sell " their family and friends in order to servive , it was still hell.
04:44 every thing finally over , people are finally safe again .... At least they think so
05:12 Great famine started and my mother was born in 1957
06:05 196X Mr.Z and my grandpa got caught and tortured by the Red Guards , and my grandpa died 1 year later .my grandma indulge in sorrow for years .
06:50 197X Mr.Z died , his had an amazing life .
07:15 Chinese economic reform started ,Bicycle use to be a luxury and now there are telephone , car and big Iron bed, after that ,the black-white TV ,
7:40 my parents married in 197X , back then china was really open .there were many foreigners, disco halls, bars in Changchun .
8:18 1998, I was born and we became homeless and living in a hospital for years.
8:50 Yay ! we finally got our own home .

00:00 太姥爷生于十八世纪后半页，当时清朝摇摇欲坠，东北地区迁入了一些俄国人，长春作为远东第一大市成了欧亚文化交流的桥头堡。

02:24 日军占领了东北并建立了满洲国，那时学校里只允许日文授课。姥姥回忆说当时日本学生穿的吃的都比其他人好的多，如果在学校说中文要受罚。

03:24 苏军占领了东北，由于他们把东北地区看作敌国地区所以军纪较差，不仅欺负当地女性而且掠夺了许多之前的东西和平民的粮食，民众叫苦不迭。但由于长春的地理位置还是有许多苏联人留在了东北，要么经商要么做些其他的事情。姥姥青年时代太姥爷会带她去苏联人开的咖啡馆和小商店买东西。
03:37 国共内战，在围困长春时饿死了几十万平民，人们不得不易子而食。
04:10 文革开始了，家人们焚烧了太姥爷的所有照片，姥姥至今依旧后悔。

05:12 母亲出生后大饥荒开始了，由于饥荒的摧残导致母亲的身体落下了终身的毛病。
06:05 60年代，家人被红卫兵们抓走并折磨，一年后姥爷死于器官衰竭。

07:15 改革开放开始了，自行车终于失去了奢侈品的地位，BB机，电话，汽车和黑白电视慢慢进入了人们的生活中。
7:40 70年代父母结婚。听说当时国内比现在开放，西式的酒吧舞厅到处都是，影院里播放着外国的电影，也有许多外国人来到了这边观光。
8:18 我出生于1998，不久父母失去了房子无家可归，全家最终住进了医院里。我还记得当时我就睡在母亲办公室内的一张大铁床上听父母讲他们小时的故事，当时最喜欢的图画书是黑猫警长。
8:50 我们有家了。

Oh, I’ve been doing well, just really busy with school. I’m finally graduating undergraduate school, and I’ll begin working on a PhD in neuroscience this July. I also co-founded a furry club at my school, though my online presence has been kind of lacking.

Yeah, most schools don't have anything like that, but I've seen it before! Some furries at my university actually tried to start one a few years before I got here. It's been mostly trying figuring out administrative stuff, as neither I nor the president have ever run a club before. We've done some cool stuff, though; like we went to our local convention (which Uncle Kage regularly attends!) and we showed off a fursuit at the university organization fair.
