Goofy’s day was turning out to be quite a strange one. Looking around on his walk down the street, he could’ve sworn there were quite a few more big… huge… round folks around. Were there always that many overweight folks living around here…? He didn’t have long to ponder this though, as he accidently bumped into a wall… and was bounced back? After falling on his rear end, he looked up to be greeted by a different yet familiar sight. It was Pete! But Goofy could swear he was much… well, fatter, compared to the last time he had seen the portly cat. Before he could say a word to him, however, Pete immediately greeted and apologized to the confused dog. And what was that he said… fat was in this season? And that Goofy was skinny? Well, he knew he’d always been a little spindly compared to others, but…
Looking around again, he took in all of the obese folk walking around. And from the corner of his eye, he thought he spotted a familiar color scheme of white and blue… yes, it was Donald! But oh my, the duck didn’t seem like himself. Just like everyone else, he sported a giant belly, moobs, and even a humongous rear! If Donald was like that, maybe Pete really was on to something…
Looking back up to the fat cat, Goofy noticed he was offering a hand to him. Thinking it over, Goofy nodded, let Pete help him up. And agreed to come over to his house. He was just a bit skinny, and surely it wouldn’t be too bad to gain a couple of pounds… right?
Well, here’s a fat Pete for you all! And referencing the Goofy movie motel scene, no less (I should really watch the Goofy Movie though, haha). But yeah, let me tell you all a little story about this pic. For those who didn’t know, it was Pete day earlier this month, and when I found out about it, I really wanted to contribute my own Pete to the mix, because I can’t help but love the fat cat. Halfway through working on this piece, though (as I was trying to get it out same day), I had some suspicions and checked the actual date for Pete day (his date of creation) and it turned out I was mistaken. Pete day had been the previous day, and I had assumed the day was Pete day because I looked at my FA submissions after midnight. Whoops! And because of that, I took making the rest of the piece slow, and here we are now. Still disappointed I couldn’t make this for Pete day >w<
Otherwise, if it this piece looks weird, it’s because I experimented with it in regards to some body shape things and line widths. I wasn’t completely successful, but oh well, it was still a learning experience :V
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this piece! And thank you all for your support! nwn
