You may not see it easily, but what I have is a medal- I happen to participate in a half-marathon, but not really in Oakland, but this medal was found in a garage sale for free. However, there is some meaning to it- I did have this to remind me of walking from one place to another that is close to 13.1 miles- it took me from 1pm to 8pm nonstop (well, it includes stopping at intersections with traffic lights,) to complete that stretch of distance from the suburb of Oakland, CA to the Chinatown of the city. I did have some runs, but it was a BIG step ahead for me in actually running 1/2 marathon and to maybe do a full. Besides that, I do have some interest in trekking the Pacific Crest National Trail from the border of Mexico to all the way to the provincial park in British Columbia. I'm proud of that achievement- me working for the US Postal Service ( https://www.usps.com ) got me conditioned to do this feat. It was a tough job, but it was well worth it to lose the excess pounds and have the metabolism to do the 1/2 marathon. Yes, the calendar of all the National Days is shown.
