Not really, considering I live in texas.

It's also ignorant of history. Texas joined the US. Before that it was its own country, so let texas be its own country again. If we give texas back to mexico, instead of letting it be independent, then we would have to give California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado back too, since the US conquered those places from mexico.
