(not good with titles, sorreh)
looong overdue full illustration for
UaineSionnach!
It appears something has made this long and generally uneventful route more memorable than it should have been ..!
This commission took quiteeeee some time to finish, mostly because of not being able to settle on the lines; kept redoing huge chunks of them to either get that proper 'practical' ship look, help the viewer focus with the details or simply because I wasn't happy with them.
Had to take a break, but was worth it, as after the first edits, I was happy with the result .3.
Was fun - and exhausting - to do a vessel interior bases more or less in reality, but glad I tried et. x3x I do love me some buttons and switches, and should be never ever allowed entry into a cockpit.
Hope you'll like et! <3

Hahah "i do love me some buttons" you sound like me XD I remember when Raytheon bought Hughes aircraft and i got to go in and see some of the equipment wow!
Also you did just an amazing job on the details of the switches, buttons, levers, lights, paneling, even the checklists are so well done you deserve kudos for such an amazingly detailed piece!!!

As a former Avionics tech, this scene is giving me flashbacks to being in convoluted shapes attempting to deal to wiring that was never thought to be needing repair/replacement.
Utterly fantastic job, All looks from a functional perspective to be pretty good.
Tho I will note that un-sat in seats with multipoint harnesses, the straps are either stowed or buckled to prevent them from flying about during maneuvers. Those things have a pesky habit of getting tangled in a control, or hitting you in the eye.

i was never the flight officer, i was the guy who swapped out those boxes that didn't seem to be working right with identical ones that hopefully were.
not just the control boxes of course, but the system boxes they were connected to. that was many years ago. even before all of us had our own computers.
anyway, i'm also a 'button haulic'.
