Okay not THAT kind of Battletoad; but a species of frog people living their lives on a small swamp planet Vibean decides to visit; and things get a little out of hand.

These amphibians' entire civilization is driven by battle; not war, but just competitive shows of might. Like every day living there is just endless strings of anime tournament arcs. This is because the race have powerful hormones/pheromones driving them to fight and impress eachother, males mainly are rewarded with the right to mate with willing females wanting only the best of the best. But there is still a very open male-on-male bonding sensibility in their culture.
Their society is a blend of tribal and modern, building many towns and stadiums but still being surrounded in wetlands and marshes; and not letting go of tradition or spirituality; infact spirits are VERY real in their world! Communing with fallen ancestors a common practice, and even calling upon them in some battles.

So with these elements in play; Vibean's troubles begin as soon as he steps out in his disguise for the first time. Usually he can't be overtaken by simplistic mindcontrol or whatever as long as he's anticipating it; but when the entire population of the planet give off mind-altering chemicals, ONTOP of getting POSSESSED by the ghost of a mighty warrior... yeah, Vibbit here has a bit of an identity crisis. At the very least this becomes his most convincing form he has in his repertoire; the longer he spends there the more REAL it becomes, inside and out.
