Cute, small, nerdy male fox from a sheltered privileged background. High-pitched youthful voice without the prominent New England accent. He is a freshman aviation science major, same as Chucky, sharing two of his classes. The two were not officially introduced to each other until October. Vincent is an intense video-gamer, usually shooter type games needing strategy and multi-player fighting games. Academically talented, but a late bloomer otherwise. Vincent is taking college as it comes, unsure what he really wants.
Personality
Vincent is friendly, but shy. He does not have much self-confidence outside his academics and personal interests. His main defense mechanism is to withdraw into his own mind and imagination, or singing aloud if he's in comfortable surroundings. Break through the shyness, and you'll have a caring, loyal friend.
Don't let his shyness fool you for naivete though. Vincent is very aware of the world. His sense of humor can go from Monty Python silliness to dark and raunchy in the right settings. Infrequent light hearted teasing. Open minded. No subject is off limits and he is not offended by other's chosen lifestyles or opinions.
Focused on things of interest, but lazy toward other things. Vincent is not a straight 'A' student. If something is not of value to him, he will brush it off as useless. He is very articulate. Excellent vocabulary from constant reading.

Vincent was born May 8, 6987 in Danbury, New England. He is the only child of Blaine and Susan Crandall. Both of his parents are dentists. With a combined income of $500,000 a year, the family never wanted for anything. Vincent was raised with love, manners, encouragement, and a value placed on education and responsibility. He was also raised with a focus on hygiene, something he has rebelled against, somewhat. Vincent's parents' personalities are a lot like his, shy, except in comfortable places. They encouraged Vincent to make friends and play with other kids, but did not live by example because they already had each other. Through most of his childhood, Vincent's family just did things together, leaving him little need to find friends.
Vincent's parents are young. They were college sweethearts and were only 22 years old when he was born. Two soulmates and Vincent made three. It was almost like three kids living together. Vincent was exposed to video games because his parents played them. He was exposed to aviation because his parents' 'toy' is a high performance, twin-engine airplane they use for transportation. His parents love goofy sci-fi action movies, comics, and general sciency stuff. Vincent latched onto all of it.
The only nagging his parents ever did was, "Keep those teeth clean!" There were few sweets in the house. His family practiced a 'paleo' diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, and lean meats. Junk food was an absolute no-no.
Vincent's parents gave him free reign on the internet and taught him about the world the best they could. He is sheltered in the sense that, all the negative things in the world have only been presented to him on a screen. He wasn't bullied or teased much, and all of his peers were the children of professionals. Vincent's real stress came with puberty.
Vincent loved the signals his body gave him. He grew taller, even though he was still very short. He got stronger. Sexual arousal and masturbating were the greatest thing ever. Girls scared the shit out of him. He wanted romance. He wanted a girlfriend. He thought they were so pretty, but impossibly out of reach. He is still in this rut to this day. Vincent found aviation fascinating because of his parents' airplane. He liked to pretend it was a spaceship. Since he had no interest in the dental field, his parents encouraged him to go into aviation. His grades easily got him into New England Technical University. The family flew to Manchester early in the morning, the same day Chucky arrived. They helped Vincent move in and spent the day with him. He cried when they left.
Vincent was not initially room mates with Kev. They knew each other in primary school, but weren't friends. Neither even knew each other was going to NETU until they saw each other at orientation. Vincent's original room mate was a tall mouse named Simmo Sid. Much more mature, confident, and rather serious. Other than aviation, they had nothing in common. Simmo was perfectly friendly and invited Vincent to eat and come out with his friend Mitch, Vincent usually just tagged along quietly. Simmo and Mitch, both gay male mice, quickly fell in love with each other. It was hard for the two boys to have private time together because each had homebody gamer room mates. Mitch suggested Simmo room-swap with his room mate, Kev. By this time, Vincent and Kev had already started hanging out together. Kev was a bit overbearing and annoying to live with, but they both loved gaming and movies and could play and talk about them forever. Three weeks after the room swap, Kev introduced Vincent to Chucky.

We know this area as Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The capital is Boston. Official language is World Anthro. Primary industries are education, manufacturing, seafood, arts and entertainment, and beer. Most residence enjoy a modern middle standard of living. NE joined the World Alliance of Fur Nations on July 16, 6620, when the organization first formed.
No fur knows where the name New England came from, it's what this region was always called. One theory is that its named after the state of Engleshire, in the United Isles of Northsea, or 'British' as they call themselves.
