It shows the basics, but I already dislike it for a few reasons, and will have to do until I put up a decent one. *I'm lazy so this may take some time* >>

Prominent incisors make people think that, but they shaped much differently; tapered like daggers and more akin to canine teeth of common predators, and those massive shearing blades on the sides of the mouth just tip the scales. Yeah I agree. Ever since that 3rd grade book report I was hooked. xD
I've always wondered something but I have never wanted to point it out because you seem to know so much about the animal...
On all the skeletons I have seen, and a lot of scientific artwork of this animal, and everything I have read about them they appear to have no claw on their inner toes much like an Australian possum, was that a design choice to add it? They also appear to have been a mostly plantigrade (rather than digitigrade) animal. (..or like this silly drawing I made last year: http://www.synchrastudios.com/galle.....thylacoleo.jpg )
I have just always wondered why you included those features on your character?

No problem. Almost all marsupials lack the thumb claw on the hind limbs despite having a very prominent hallux, very true, and this would be likely for thylacoleo too. I mostly added it for symmetricality, so it is a personal thing, also to emphasize my username. As for locomotive stance: I have heard them described as semi-plantigrade, semi-digitigrade, and not entirely flat footed like a bear, the skeleton evidences this with more cat like elements. Some say they walk like possums, others like cats. I tried to make it between the two as I prefer digitigrade looks. Somewhat like a tiptoe stance that can either be flat (especially in shoes) or on the toes when normally standing. Hope that gave some explanation to why.
Yay I finally know! And yeah I knew they were semi-dgigitgrade, but I always assumed myself that they were more like possums myself. X3 Thylacines seemed to almost go 50/50 with them though, so I guess that would be a little more accurate because of the size. :D
Thank you!
Thank you!
Some useful points I see in the body construction. Thanks for those. Others tidbits, not so much. Obviously someone is not familiar with the species. Go study "thylacoleo", and then come back to me since you obviously know nothing of its dentition whatsoever. "Tard's mouth" and "LOL" or "chipmunk?" do not count as decent critique of any sort and just brush away any credibility I thought you had in objectivity. If a "chipmunk", it would be the one to behead and then promptly disembowel you with those ever so fun incisors and side blades, if you bother to look it up that is. The tail doesn't narrow at it's conjunction with the pelvis, it is very thick, like it's close relative the kangaroo's. Unless I am misunderstanding that part. If you have a pointer for that, or accuracy in the dentition of the actual species in question, I would be glad to hear it.
I know rite. Wow marsupials have pouches, reallllly?! Internal junk too? My word. Non standard teeth actually exist. No wai. And hermaphrodites that actually have defined waists?! What is this madness. T'would be fun to lock him in a cage with a real one and applaud the result.
