I was thinking really hard and long about IF to submit this composition or not.
Why? Well, mostly because both of the main themes in this song are NOT originally composed by myself. I have just used two famous themes from TV / CINEMA and arranged it new.
So, what’s my effort here? I guess… I was quite sucessfully in arranging some very difficult theme songs and performing them (!!) on my quite old keyboard! XD
Here it is: a song for my friend’s character “LAROM GREENSCALE” – a lizard druid!
And hey… I’m pretty happy about the arrangement. After all, this is a way to learn how the masters do it! ^..^
*First part of the song contains main theme of “STARGATE – ATLANTIS” composed by Joel Goldsmith
**Third part of the song contains music from “ERAGON” composed by Patrick Doyle
***Second part composed by Patrick Reichel aka REPTILECYNRIK
Arranged and performed by Patrick Reichel aka REPTILECYNRIK

Trying to reconstruct songs that you enjoy can do wonders for learning how they're put together - I've never actually heard either of the themes that you mentioned, so it was all new to me. I really liked the bell effects in the background during the Stargate and Eragon parts, and the gentleness of your middle section is lovely - subtlety is something I've never really mastered in my own music!

Well... fact is, I love both scores. And it was one of the best arrangements I'm capable of doing with my old instrument. :) I agree with you totally... the learning aspect cannot be ignored! ^.^

When you get back in town I want to leave you this,
This music like all your music calmed me down.
There is a certain beauty to this which tames an out of control mind and puts it back to where it belongs.
I shut my eyes when it got the beautiful acoustic guitar.. So fabulous! The softness of the guitar made me so warm and it melted my heart and set my body heat on fire.
You music like always knows how to tame a hyper lion like me.
