anyway. lol, odst,
its ruined my halo experience all in all.
sure ist got ok gameplay, and the story is ok, and such.
but good god. its no where near as challenging as i thought it would be, i mean, how come its easier to play as a ODST on legendary, then it is a spartan?!!?? COME ONNN
legendary mode was so bloody easy to beat.
grr.
anyway. had a lol moment, on kikowani station, trying to locate a invisible brute, and i saw him in VISR mode, no scope sniped his ass with a beam rifle ( two shots) and as he started to fall, out of no where, a gravity hammer drops on my ass and blasts me across the area XD didnt even see the cheiftan move around, duhhh

I've had similiar moments happen to me when playing Halo Combat Evolved (the first one) sword wielding Zealots are a major pain when you forget they spawn on the level you're playing. Was shooting grunts half way across the bridge in 'Assault on the Control Room' and i get beat down by a zealot.
Glad i'm not the only one that's had those 'totally got served' moments.
On the note of legendary mode as a Spartan. Most of the levels in the various halo games are pretty easy. Halo combat evolved's 'The Maw' is always fun to run through in Legendary. It really depends if you are familiar with that level and what all is going to be there and if you're prepared to run for your life when you know you can't win or go for broke and shoot why you know you can take down easily.
I still think Hunters are the easiest thing to kill, but that's onlyif you know when you can one shot 'em.
Apologies for the long post.

x3 ooh dont worry obut long post ^^ XD as you said, im glad there are others who share similar moments XDD
i think, a godo bonus round in maybe odst or any other halo game, would to have..about 4 or 5 hunter pairs coming at you at once. on legendary. now that would be awesome.
when i first fought the hunters in odst, i awsa stuck with abad weapon , and they were facing me, and i kept taking plasma bolts from them to the face XD
burned through a F*ck load of grenades taking them down -.-

Ah, well i'll share my little tip on killing them. When they go to swing up at you take that time to unload on their big orange exposed belly. if you have a shotgun it should take only one shot to kill them. However in Halo CE you could melee them to death but i doubt that's an option in Halo 3 or ODST since i could never melee them dead in Halo 2.
Heh, 1 odst vs 5 Hunters. That would be the challenge of a life time.
When i first dealt with a Hunter in Halo CE it was when i was in a warthog and the simple instict was to just run them over. Or maybe it was the tank, either way they were easily dispatch becase i had a vehicle. But in the Maw on Legendary you have to fight the flood, various hunters in pairs of 2 and black ops elites and grunts. The grunts are easy to dispatch, teh flood almost as easy, the hunters a close third, and the elites being the toughest since they toss grenades if you stay still too long. The sentinels are easily dispatched even on legendary they're never really a big threat.
I try to avoid using grenade unless i'm sticking a vehicle that's rushing me or if i'm positive i can get a sticky kill. But as much as I play halo and halo 2 i'm well seasoned in campaign but i'm rusty in multiplayer. Shame i don't have a 360 or XBL otherwise i'd challenge you or something. Just have an old crappy Xbox and a PC that's seen better days.

They only ha one year to make the game what you expect. If they had a whole three years it would have beenway better. I look foward to reach but i kind of hope multiplayer at least has other options besides playing as spartans and elites. ^^ ODST or those new skirmishers look pretty good.
