In Ter'derlor, death is a common thing, much like in all worlds, but there is no reaper, only guiders of souls. Meara helps souls find where they will end up in the afterlife within the Ethereal Plane. Either in the halls of Vin'nel, the original city of the Gods, a place for heroes, good doers, or those made some important mark upon the world... or the Dungeon of Dor'chan, the ever dreading bell toll for the wicked, the traitors, the ones who turn against the gods.... or even within herself, for those who are lost, who forget themselves within the cold realm of the eternal Ethereal plane, so that they may at least rest without worry of their souls being stanch by some necromancer to be enslaved, or worse.

Her light is always welcome, or fear, for she will guide those to their final resting place. Weather they want to or not.
