Meg,
Ok, since you asked... here goes. I am one that believes in the artist transfers some of their self, their energy into the work through the instraments that you use. You are in direct contact with the medium that you use and then you share that with the viewer. Where in digital art, there is just a something just a little less. The artist is a bit remove for the work that they create. Please do not get me wrong, there is digital artwork out that that is just jaw draopping fantastic and that I would be proud to have on my walls. Traditional artwork to me just seems "more real"... the artist themselves touch the paper with pen or brush. It is a tangeable thing. Does that help? }:=)
