Kejital was simply exploring the shoreline when something tripped him and made him fall face first into the sand. When he regained his senses, he realized that something was pulling him into the sea! Some sort of deep blue slime had sent tendrils out of the sea and was pulling him in!

Fearing that he was going to be drowned and then eaten, Kejital fought to get free. However, the more he fought, the more of the ooze covered him. Soon, a second tendril reached out and grabbed his left arm, and with another yank pulled him closer to the water. The ooze was tightening around him and making it harder to move as it spread. It had tightly bound his legs together and pulled them into his main 'body'.

As soon as his feet reached the ooze's main body, its behavior suddenly changed. To Kejital's fascination and horror, he realized that the ooze was forming a shape around him, like it was creating some sort of living suit. A large fish like fin, like that of a merfolk, formed around his feet. Scales began growing across the slime's surface, and to his amazement it began feeling like his own 'skin'. Clawed gloves were forming over one of his arms as well, so at least it didn't seem like he was turning into an animal. Some of the ooze got over his face, and began creating the maw of some sort of fish-like creature over his mouth.

If he didn't escape somehow, Kejital knew that he was going to be doomed to roam the seas as some sort of feral merfolk. However, he didn't know how he could possibly get free from it...
