"We finally did it, you know.
This was a much different place last year, and I was a different person, too.
You've seen this place at a very beautiful time, when it was all just coming to fruition last December.
These people were strange. Our friends were strangers. Traveling was a foreign concept and seeing our distant friends was a dream that'd probably have never come true. Yet, somehow, it did come true, and one year later, we proved that beautiful things could simply come to be, and we could wind up back here once more. Only, this time, we've grown, and are much different people, equally.
Not all of us are here, and some new faces have formed, including yourself. But, you've no idea how amazing it is to walk these streets and see this landscape like I've been here before, seen and known a taste, and able to give the opportunity to bring you apart of it, too.
Hell, I remember I was terrified to drink last year, and here we are, right at the start of the whole fuckin ordeal, getting hammered from something tasty that we definitely shouldn't be spending as much as we are on.
Look, just see how all those regrets and hesitations just vanish. I'm giving my everything because it's not a challenge to anymore. I can actually be me, and you're helping me find that light and joy. Fuck, you weren't even supposed to come, and to think it could've been missed had a few circumstances not come about. But, whatever, fuck it, it's not about fate or luck or any of that bullshit. We're here to go fuckin wild, and we've got a long, beautiful time ahead of us.
Let's make out, drink, fuck, party, dream, take risks, smoke, go all out and tell the world that this is ours; because it damn well is mine, and you're coming along with me, sunshine. Now, let's get another round, on me. I'm too sober for this magic."

This was a wonderful Christmas gift from

Chibi-Marrow . I was very surprised and found myself struggling to find words in a Discord call when this was revealed to me, blushing madly and feeling overjoyed that this moment came to light. It's based off of an actual memory at MFF2018 where Alfie and I were at the bar in the Hyatt taking shots of Jägermeisters. I'd never had it before, so it was a new taste I could enjoy, and it's become one of my favourite drinks. I quickly learned sweet Alfie definitely can't drink like us Americans, but it was a lot of fun, and a great way to start the con in actuality. He's a good boy who's been there for me on countless occassions throughout 2018 and come to be one of my closest friends. I'm glad to know him and know I'll be joining him again at another convention in the future.
Please, give him some love, as well as Chibi for their outstanding work on the details, fur, background, our sonas, and everything in between. I couldn't be happier and I'm thankful for this commission. It's perfect and I'm glad for it Alfie. Thank you so much hon, love you millions <3
