It really was a calm day when the purple dragoness was drowning all of her life problems into the waters she was swimming in, that was until she heard something. She stops for a bit afloat and looks around, her long ears twitching towards the noise that was evidently getting louder and louder by the moment, until she could see something in the sky.
Was that another dragon?!
Her eyes widened in surprise as the other dragon shot through trees and fell into the water, she herself was quick to dive into the water before the other dragon could see. As she heard the loud splash and saw the bubbles surrounding the other dragon, she could see something else, a dark blue fluid. Someone regular wouldn’t recognize this right away, but she herself knew that it was blood! This other dragon was bleeding! She immediately began swimming towards the other dragon that made no move to free themselves from their watery demise.
Just as she put her talons around the strager’s shoulders and began to pull them to the surface, she could see that the dragon opened their eyes groggily before closing them, crap, she was losing her! She used the full force of her giant wings to swim immediately to the surface, and then pulling the dragon’s head over the water to let her breathe... Until she noticed the gills that she had, it meant that she had no problem breathing in the water, but still, she pulled her to the shore and then got out herself, immediately looking for any visible injuries. For someone who isn’t a reptile, blue blood would be something a little difficult to spot since it’s not too common, but in this case.. She really had no advantage with the dragon’s scales being nearly as blue as her blood, and barely noticed the slash marks on her neck and chest.
Seeing that, she immediately went to her things and took out a white towel, she made small stabs into it using her claws before ripping it in half and using half of it as a bandage for the stranger’s neck, and half of it for the stranger’s shoulder.. Which was admittedly difficult to do. She put the back of her talon on the other reptile’s neck to test pulse.. Steady, calm, but there, she let out a sigh of relief before giving her one last look and heading back to her things. She’ll put on her clothes after this swim and head back home for actual medical supplies instead of relying on towels for bandages. She didn’t take much longer before taking off to the air and heading straight home, she could hear a few calls after her name, but paid them no mind as she ran past, her talons scratching the floors as she ran past.
“Young lady! You know the rule about about running in the house!”
She heard her mother, but..
“Sorry, won’t do it again!”
Her response was automatic as she didn’t even get a glance at her as she ran off and outside, immediately taking to the air again. Wings open to their fullest extent, talons clutching the medical kit so it won’t fall onto someone far below and cause damage, she was mostly gliding on most of her days, but right now she was flapping her wings hard so she can reach the spot. Above the big houses, the smaller houses, the avian town, and to the outskirts of the city, just above the old tavern and to the woods. She slowly began to unfurl her wings and starting a dive, she went between many trees and shot through the green barrier that hid her swimming spot. Shooting above the shore and making a U-turn towards the injured dragon, she couldn’t really take her anywhere unless she makes sure that she can actually move her without causing more damage.
She landed on the shore and sent some sand flying, though just as her talons sunk into the sand, she realized that the seemingly helpless dragoness was nowhere to be seen. Violet looks around frantically, dropping the medical kit into the sand.
“Wh- Where did she go?!”
