picture for a friend who I think needs some cheering up.

I did this entirely in Chinese Calligraphy ink. http://www.csc.gov.sg/HTML/Newslett.....alligraphy.jpg My set though much less impressive but with primary colors.

You can see some minimal construction lines if you look really hard. Entirely freehand, using one general picture of a Japanese rock garden and his character. I know his eyes are supposed to be closed, but I had already started painting them open and couldn't change it.

I changed the chakra on his head to the open third eye, as the pic wouldn't be the same with it. Also the pic is supposed to be end of fall beginning of winter, included some flowers for the dichotomy of life and death. Hair is floaty for effect. I wish I had thought of including fish in this since he loves them so much, but again I had already painted too much before I realized it.

Watercolor paper is fail. I will have to put this under books to flatten it.

Will be replaced with a better scan when I can find my damnned scanner cords!
