Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
I’m very satisfied with this suit! There are a few extremely minor issues but overall he’s fantastic to wear! He’s a little big but can be fixed by putting a bun in my hair. Nothing pokes me or stabs me and he’s very soft on the inside. He’s lined with Lycra I believe so it keeps me cool. He’s very breathable due to his large mouth which gives great ventilation. The biggest issue I had was vision as it was a bit dark and the blind spot isn’t small but nothing that isn’t normal with most suits.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
I’m in love with his appearance! Saveferret took my character and enhanced every part of him! Ferret gave him star eyes and emphasized his accent colors more purple and I loved it! All changes were cleared with me before hand but I really loved the creativity and innovation that was shown! He’s generally symmetrical with a few errors that were disclosed to me while he was being made and offered to be redone but I didn’t see it necessary. The shaving is overall nice with a few bumps or uneven bits every once in awhile but again nothing that isn’t normal for a beginner (Malachi was the fourth head saveferret ever made). Malachi has static eyes so different expressions are inherently harder to achieve but saveferret made magnetic eyelids to go with him and two different tongue lengths to make the differences in expression. In summary I’m in love with the look of this head and what saveferret did to enhance it!

Special Attachments and Features

Malachi comes with several magnetic features such as eyelids, two interchangeable tongues, and his hair. All of these parts are very well made and the magnets used are strong and trustworthy! I’ve never had anything fall off before even in rough situations such as dances or meets. I love all these features and they’re super easy and convenient to use.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The fit could be better as the eleastic used to attach to the belt is very loose but I admittedly use a smaller belt, if I used a wide belt it could lessen this effect but it wouldn’t be able to loop my pants. It’s easy to get on and off and extremely durable with pulling or roughhousing by children. The movement is great and I can wag it easily which I really enjoy! Overall great tail besides the elastic issue.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
I love the appearance of his tail! I think it’s cute and it’s big and I love it! It’s a curled tail so it comes back over itself and all the markings are perfect. There was no shaving on the tail so no issues there at all! Brushing can be difficult at times as the seams are a tad bumpy but nothing has snapped or torn before.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
I think everything looks fantastic and I couldn’t be happier. They look perfect when I partial even through he’s not a small head and everything has a very natural flow to it. No issues with markings or shapes at all and he even got his odd shaped ears correct! I love the unique style that Malachi has that matches the other work saveferret has and I really couldn’t love it anymore than I already do!


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I found saveferret on the insta stories of one of his friends I followed. I contacted for a few different quotes before settling. Everything was easy to understand and very quick to get back to me!


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Everything was very fast and I usually didn’t have to wait more than a day for a response at any point. Everything was done over Instagram dms which I personally really liked.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
I feel I was treated great! Best commission experience to date! Saveferret was great to work with! Communication started more professional but slowly started to become more casual and friendly as we grew comfortable with interacting. Communication was always clear when about the commission and what progress had been done and what was happening. Never gave excuses to me and was always honest about work and progress.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I consider the completion time fast and blew away my expectations. I wasn’t aware of a queue or trello but I knew I was one of two people commissioning at the time. There were no time restraints at all and I didn’t need the suit by a certain date but saveferret always kept me updated. My suit was shipped quickly using priority mail and everything arrived in good condition.


Are you happy with the product you received?
I was absolutely astonished at the quality of the suit especially considering saveferrets small amount of prior experience. If anything I feel I should have paid triple the price for the quality I received! Everything is durable and will last me a very long time.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I would recommend this maker a hundred times over and plan to have a lot more work done by him in the future. I’ve been apart of 5+ fursuit commissions and this is the best I’ve ever been treate and the best suit I’ve been in contact with. even with very minor issues I think of this suit as perfect and I’m excited to see what comes next from saveferret!
