Towards the latter part of the stream my friend who was in call with me for the first half mentioned that there's a new
Darkest Dungeon game coming out, which got me really excited.
Took a look at the trailer and was reminded of how much I love their artstyle.
Since the Stream theme was basically "Eldrich/The Thing horror", I figured I could do some Darkest Dungeon
styled stuff, since they do have that same vibe. I'm pretty happy with the result, even though my version of the
style is more "fine/detailed" in lineart than the DD style.
Was actually pretty fun drawing this and if I manage to emulate the DD style a little closer I'll prolly cut down time
significantly on these types of things - which I WILL do more of, because it was really fun and kind of relaxing aaand it
gives me a reason to do more binary art <3
Not sure what the next Sunday stream will be about, but I am tempted to do another horror/dark/eldrich type theme
again because it's different to what I normally do and it gets derailed towards the end of it all anyways
And yeh, they're Paras and Parasect.
I am prolly gonna prep ahead a bit next time, getting a few possible options in mind before I start.
