I tried a variety of backgrounds for this one, and a beach seemed to pull the whole picture together.

Tried to add a few more details... you know, the whole improving thing and whatnot. :)

Hehehe, yeah, I've never been great at details, but hey, practice practice, eh? What better place to start besides the fluffiness and individuality of the feathers? xD Next stop; Musculature and shading!

Yes, in fact it's one of the items on my Christmas list. I have been barred from buying myself anything because I'm so hard to buy for (don't need anything, don't feel a want for much, so... yeah). But yes! It is on my list!

Yeah, he is. :) Thanks! It's interesting how the details kind of look like crap at first, but when the picture comes together, they really can make the image.
