I never originally intended to color this Inktober piece, but I guess my admiration for Matt Frank's work on the new Redman comics got the best of me. That, and I was kinda bored. XP I'm definitely gonna have some prints for this year's convention rounds.
I did try experimenting some with the line art, and I think I'm onto something, but I ultimately decided to stick to keeping the line art (mostly) black. I did mess with one of the highlight layers, making it yellow (with the exception of the eyes) to contrast with making the form and depth layers purple.
