I had this cute little guy in my head for a while. Their name is Bee. I have this whole idea of the biology of this species. These fairies are a way for a particular species of tree to spread it's seeds. That thing in the center of Bee's forehead is the seed. They're born from pods of the tree and contain a little DNA from whatever critter pollinated their flower. They hang around the tree for a while then venture out to see the world, traveling far and wide. Eventually, when they die the seed grows from wherever they fell and makes a new tree to make more fairies. Bee is basically sapient dandelion fuzz.
