Briar Finch Faramond

A partial immortal, Briar was one of the founding members of the original delta, a true knight. After countless battles and centuries of keeping the peace, an era of relative peace settles in. Their goal had seemingly been achieved; the hero could rest; but that wasn't how it worked. Plagued with ptsd, waiting for the next fight, moving from place to place, they struggled with living a simple life, of watching it crawl by. They waited. History repeated itself. Evil didn't just stop. But petty crime and detective work weren't the heat of battle. And so they retreated, retreated to an abandoned monastery, and relearned how to live in utter peace and borderline solitude; only receiving company from the passing traveler or waving down trading ships to bargain for food and supplies.
A century passes, it is time to return, and they seek out their roots; delta; in the city housing a demon. Technology has advanced. The wastelands have grown worse. Delta is just a name for a lowly street gang, and an old abandoned laboratory.
